Mermaid Tears grower-grade flower lands as a dense, violet-heavy indica-leaning hybrid from Neptune Pharms. Because the lineage runs Purple Kush x Granddaddy Purple (GDP), the structure stays tight and resin-heavy. Furthermore, Neptune Pharms cultivated this batch indoors and cured it slowly. In short, the flower reads terp-forward rather than showy.

Key Features

• Lineage: Purple Kush x Granddaddy Purple (GDP)
• Breeder and cultivator: Neptune Pharms
• Genetics type: indica-leaning hybrid
• Dominant terpene: myrcene
• Indoor flower, slow cured for terpene retention
• Structure: dense buds, deep violet leaf, burnt-orange pistils

Inside the Mermaid Tears Grower-Grade Flower

Specifically, the buds arrive tight, rounded, and heavier than their size suggests. Calyxes stack close together, while deep violet leaf wraps each bract. Moreover, trichome coverage sits high across the calyx faces and sugar leaf. Burnt-orange pistils thread through the frost, therefore the contrast reads clearly under a loupe. Since the cure was patient, the flower breaks apart cleanly instead of crumbling.

Additionally, moisture holds steady once the jar is opened. As a result, the terps stay intact through the first week. Growers who read structure before anything else will find plenty here.

Mermaid Tears Cultivar Lineage

Purple Kush brings compact internodal spacing and the deep pigment expression. Granddaddy Purple (GDP), meanwhile, contributes the grape-leaning terp direction and the bract swell. Therefore the cross lands squarely on the indica-leaning side of hybrid. In fact, both parents are known for color, so the violet here is expected. Neptune Pharms runs this cut in-house, and the batch stays consistent jar to jar.

Mermaid Tears Terpene Profile

Myrcene sits at the front of this profile. Additionally, the nose carries grape, floral, and sweet earth notes. Because myrcene leads, the aroma reads round instead of sharp. However, a faint fuel edge shows up underneath once the bud is broken open. In short, the profile tracks classic purple lineage with a modern resin load.

Taste Profile on This Cut

On the draw, grape and berry arrive first. Then earth and hash settle across the back palate. Furthermore, a candy sweetness lingers after the exhale. Because the cure was slow, the smoke stays smooth rather than scratchy. Overall, the flavor follows the nose closely, which growers appreciate in a purple cross.

Effects and Evening Wind-Down

This cultivar leans relaxed, calm, and physically heavy. Therefore most people reach for it after the day is finished. Additionally, the calm builds gradually instead of arriving all at once. Many buyers compare the cut to other indica-leaning hybrid flower options in the catalog. Meanwhile, mood support and evening wind-down describe the general direction well. Since the body weight builds, start low and pace yourself.

Reported Wellness Uses

Customers commonly report stress relief and mental decompression with this cut. Moreover, evening relaxation is the most frequently mentioned use. However, these remain subjective reports and nothing more. Therefore treat them as vibe notes, not guidance.

Reserve Mermaid Tears Grower-Grade Flower

Indoor batches move quickly, since a patient cure limits how much reaches the shelf. Therefore checking weight availability early is smart. Order Mermaid Tears flower from Neptune Seed Bank.
